Dr Emma-Leigh Senyard
Dr Emma-Leigh Senyard is an AHPRA-registered clinical psychologist with over a decade's experience in private practice, community clinics, occupational rehabilitation and university settings.
Emma-Leigh is passionate about working with the nervous system, healing generational trauma and patterns, mental health 'bio-hacking,' and scientifically blending spirituality and psychology. Her approach is person-centred - a balance of evidence-based approaches and personal needs.
Emma-Leigh is also a board-approved supervisor and casual academic.
Emma-Leigh is not currently taking 1-1 clients.

Services
Therapy
Emma-Leigh works collaboratively with clients to build resilience and psychological well-being. Emma-Leigh employs a number of evidence-based treatment modalities including CBT, ACT, transpersonal psychology (spiritual psychology), Schema, person-centred, motivational interviewing and psychoeducation. Emma-Leigh works with a range of populations and presentations including but not limited to: nervous system dysregulation, chronic health conditions, generational trauma, stress, anxiety, and depression.
Assessment
Emma-Leigh offers comprehensive psychological diagnostic assessments. These include Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, IQ (Cognitive assessments), Learning Disorders (Dysgraphia, Dyslexia and Dyscalculia), and other diagnostic assessments. Assessments are conducted with care, rigour, and a deep respect for the individual’s lived experience.
Media
Emma-Leigh enjoys working with the media, and has written for newspapers, and magazines, as well as been a guest on radio stations. Emma-Leigh provides a unique perspective, blending evidence-based with real-world solutions and commentary. Emma-Leigh enjoys most providing high-level writing, and speaking at the intersection of evidence-based science and generational trauma, spiritual/energy psychology, the nervous system, mental health 'bio-hacking' and human behaviour. Emma-Leigh is available for podcasts, articles, interviews, and educational media contributions.

Online educational workshops and courses designed to translate complex psychological concepts into accessible, practical learning will be coming soon. Content will be evidence-based, experiential, and suitable for the general public.
Supervision
Emma-Leigh is a PsyBA approved supervisor, and has been providing high-quality supervision to provisional psychologists and registrars for over 5 years in both private and university settings.
Supervision is available for psychologists and allied health practitioners, offering reflective, supportive, and developmentally informed guidance across clinical, ethical, and professional domains.
Research
Emma-Leigh is a published researcher and author. Emma-Leigh has published high-quality research in international journals. Her published research to date encompasses adolescent engagement in online CBT interventions, and psychological behaviour-support interventions in after-hours school care settings. Emma-Leigh currently has research projects on meditation and therapeutic rapport.
